Pick each door's type, the wall it sits on, and its clear width. Placement drives the egress screening and the live drawing. Swing doors count as a legal exit; glass, slide & roll-up doors do not.

3b · Sanitation / USDA wash-down

USDA wash-down adds 316 SS concrete wedge anchors with stainless U-channel, plus a 20-ga brushed stainless base molding with a 3/8" radius cove and your toe height — this is what makes full hose-down cleaning possible. The U-channel upgrades automatically to heavy 16-gauge on boxes 20′ and taller. 316 SS for high-salt / aggressive-chemical washdowns; 304 SS for most food plants. Anchor spacing per project drawing.

4 · Refrigeration

R-454A is a low-GWP A2L refrigerant — typically 12–18% higher equipment cost than R-448A and subject to charge-limit rules (screened below).

5 · Project location

Baseline hazard values by state. Mountain & coastal sites vary widely — confirm the exact figure with the ASCE 7 Hazard Tool and your local building department.

6 · Foundation & ceiling / structural support

Drives the base detail & figures in the drawing sheet and installation manual. Curb and insulated-slab details per IC standard: 20-ga galv U-channel, drive pins @ 36" O.C., butyl sealant to warm side.
Indoor ceilings hang from the facility's beams/purlins (rods or cable + mushroom screws). Outdoor boxes have no building to hang from, so they carry a full steel frame.
